S.A.F.E. Tomorrow Shelter Campaign

S.A.F.E. Tomorrow Shelter Campaign
The S.A.F.E. Tomorrow Shelter Campaign has officially surpassed its $250,000 goal, with $271,000 raised to help us move forward after the loss of our emergency shelter. Because of your support, we are closer to creating a safe, trauma-informed space for survivors in crisis.
The goal was met. The work continues. Help support what comes next.

Why this matters

In April 2025, a fire left our emergency shelter standing but unusable. Since then, survivors have relied on hotels and temporary spaces while we continued providing support, advocacy, and care.

When someone reaches out in crisis, they need more than a room. They need safety, stability, and a place where they can begin to breathe again.

This campaign helped move us closer to that. Not just a building, but a space designed with intention. One that reflects dignity, privacy, and the understanding that healing takes more than time. It takes the right environment.

What Your Support Made Possible

Because of this campaign, we are able to move forward with critical steps toward a new emergency shelter, including:

  • Securing a space that can safely house survivors in crisis
  • Creating private, comfortable rooms that support rest and stability
  • Designing spaces that reflect trauma-informed care and dignity
  • Adding safety and security features for those we serve
  • Providing essential furnishings and everyday necessities
  • Creating areas for advocacy, support, and connection

This is about more than a place to stay. It is about creating an environment where people can begin again.

Reaching our campaign goal was a major milestone. It was not the finish line. Now, our focus turns to preparing a shelter that is fully ready to serve survivors safely, thoughtfully, and with dignity. That work takes continued support.
